Sani - true Finnish Pop Star

Sani started her singing career by joining a band called Aikakone in 1995. Aikakone is one of the most successful Finnish bands of all time, singing in Finnish and in English. The group has released 6 records that have reached gold and/or platinum marks, amassing an impressive 300,000 plus units in sales. All this in a country where a gold record is 15,000 units! During this time Sani also sang one of the most played Finnish songs ever, a duet "Tuhat yötä" with actor/singer Samuli Edelmann.

After the successful career with Aikakone, Sani continued as a solo singer releasing two albums: first "Kaikki laulut" in 2005 and the second one "Pedon kynnet" in 2007. Lately, Sani has been working actively amongst Tampere Theatre performing in plays and musicals. Beside her solo gigs in different venues, she has also activated to gig with Aikakone. The group (featuring Susanna Laine) will have several gigs around Finland during this year.
