Welcome to the machines!

The HERE studios consist of two separate control rooms and one medium sized recording room. The main idea behind having two control rooms is that you can record in one and edit, write or arrange in the other one so it maximises the use of these spaces.

In this day and age the gear used in the recording industry keeps evolving at an astonishing rate (and because we tend to keep up with it) it's hard to make a list that wouldn't change every other week, but let's see now...

As far as the actual gear goes the studios are based on Mac Pros for power and speed and builds up from there. The software used in recording and mixing are Pro Tools HD, LE and Logic. In taking care that the signal is recorded in optimum quality we have an assortment of top notch pre-amps including (but not limited to) Universal Audio LA-610, MANLEY Vox-Box, Presonus M80 and a TLA M3 tubetracker (which is also used for mixing). An assortment of top quality microphones is also an essential part of the studio. Whether you want to record sweet vocals or screaming guitars, we have got the solution for you!

As a mixing platform the main control room uses the digidesign C24 digital controller while the smaller room uses digidesign Pro Tools 002 Rack. Of course on top of this we have an assortment of plug-ins (too many to mention) and soft synths, not forgetting the outboard synth gear, reverbs etc. So all this amount to quite a serious pack of gear!
